Platform Terms of Service

1. What Sanjh is

Sanjh is a marketplace that connects creative professionals in Pakistan with businesses that want to hire them. We provide introductions, messaging, escrow and dispute administration.

Sanjh is not a party to the contract between a client and a creator. We do not employ creators, we do not perform the work, and we do not guarantee the quality of any work delivered. The agreement for each project is between the two users.

Sanjh is not a donation platform, a fundraising service, a money transfer service or a general payment gateway. Our escrow exists solely to hold payment for creative services commissioned through the platform until those services are delivered and approved.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18. Creators must be based in Pakistan. Businesses may be based anywhere. You must give accurate information and keep it current. One person, one account.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your login credentials and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not sell, rent or transfer your account.

4. Fees

Joining Sanjh is free. Sanjh charges creators a commission of 10% of the project fee, deducted when funds are released. Businesses pay no platform fee. Payment providers may apply their own charges. We will give notice before changing our fees.

5. Payments and escrow

Clients pay the full project fee into escrow before work begins. Funds are held by our payment provider, not in Sanjh's general operating account.

Funds are released to the creator when the client approves the delivered work, or automatically 24 to 48 hours after delivery if the client neither approves nor raises an issue in that window.

Raising a dispute pauses release until the dispute is resolved.

You may not use Sanjh escrow for anything other than payment for creative services genuinely commissioned and delivered through the platform. Approving work that was never delivered, or using the platform to move money without a real underlying service, is a serious breach and will result in immediate removal and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Going off platform

You may not use Sanjh to find someone and then arrange payment outside the platform in order to avoid commission. For 12 months after you are first introduced through Sanjh, transactions between you and that user relating to work sourced here should run through the platform. Work arranged privately is not protected by escrow and is not covered by our dispute process.

7. Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading or plagiarised work, or claim work you did not do
• Use fake reviews, fake engagement or purchased followers
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse another user
• Pressure someone to communicate or pay outside the platform
• Post unlawful, obscene or infringing material
• Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the platform
• Use Sanjh to launder money, evade tax, or move funds without a genuine service behind the transaction

8. Strikes and removal

Where a violation is proven after review, we apply strikes.

Serious violations including fraud, harassment, stolen work and misuse of escrow may result in immediate permanent removal without three strikes. You may appeal to support@sanjh.net and we will review within 7 days.

9. Content and ownership

You keep ownership of everything you upload. By uploading it you give Sanjh a licence to display and distribute it for the purpose of running and promoting the platform. This licence ends when you remove the content, except where it forms part of a completed project record.

Ownership of work delivered to a client is governed by the agreement between those two users, not by these Terms.

10. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on a real completed project. We do not remove reviews simply because they are negative. We will remove reviews that are abusive, contain personal information, or are shown to be fabricated.

11. Disputes between users

Disputes follow three stages: direct negotiation for 48 hours, then Sanjh mediation for up to 5 days, then a written determination by Sanjh within 48 hours based on evidence from both sides. You agree to accept our determination in respect of the release of escrow funds. This does not remove your legal rights, but you agree to complete this process before bringing a claim.

12. Our liability

Sanjh is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, that you will find work, or that you will find suitable talent. We are not liable for the acts, omissions or work quality of any user. Our total liability to you is limited to the platform commission we have earned from you in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Closing your account

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms. Ongoing projects and any funds in escrow will be resolved before closure takes effect.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Sanjh after that means you accept them.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. The courts at Islamabad have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to clause 11.
