Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sanjh collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Sanjh is operated by SANJH MARKET PLACE (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, registered in Pakistan at House 55, St 2, Sector G-10/3, Islamabad, Pakistan.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist
Your name, email address, phone number, city, the category of work you do, and a link to your portfolio if you provide one. Only your email address is required. Everything else is optional and helps us understand who is joining.
When you create an account after launch
Your profile information, portfolio files, rates and availability. For creators taking payment, we will also need bank or mobile wallet details and tax identification. Identity verification documents where required.
When you use the platform
Messages sent through Sanjh, project details, reviews you write or receive, and records of bookings and payments.
Automatically
IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and approximate location derived from IP. We use this to keep the service working, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to understand which parts of the site people actually use.
What we do with it
- Operate the platform: create your account, show your profile, connect you with the other side of a booking
- Process payments and hold funds in escrow
- Send transactional email you need to receive, such as booking confirmations, payment notifications and password resets
- Send you updates about the launch and the product, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
- Investigate disputes, fraud, and breaches of our Terms
- Meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations
- Improve the product
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact details with third parties for their own marketing. We do not give your phone number or email to another user. Communication happens through the platform until you choose to share contact details yourself.

Where your data is stored
Our servers and service providers may be located outside Pakistan. By using Sanjh you agree to your information being transferred and stored outside Pakistan for the purposes described in this policy. We take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details are kept until launch and for a reasonable period after, or until you ask us to delete them. Account information is kept while your account is open. Records of completed transactions, disputes and tax documentation are retained after account closure for as long as required by law and for the resolution of any later claim.
Your choices
- Access. Ask us what we hold about you
- Correction. Update your profile at any time, or ask us to correct anything you cannot change yourself
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your account. Completed transaction and dispute records are archived rather than erased, for legal and accounting reasons
- Unsubscribe. Opt out of marketing email using the link in any message. You will still receive essential emails about your account and bookings

Security
We use encryption in transit, restrict internal access to personal data, and hold payment funds with a licensed payment provider rather than in ordinary company accounts. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data we will tell you.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may stop working.
Children
Sanjh is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Changes
If we make a significant change to this policy we will email registered users and update the date at the top of this page.
